How do classes work?

PastryClass is an immersive online experience that gives everyone an opportunity to learn from the world’s best pastry instructors.

Access to PastryClassAI support tool created to enhance your learning experience, providing unlimited pastry assistance instantly!

This unique PastryClass structure allows students to move through the lessons at their own pace and comfort.

When do pastry classes start?

Is PastryClass available in my country?

PastryClass is available worldwide, as long as you have Wi-Fi and a computer.

What language are the classes in? Do you have subtitles?

Our classes are in English, without subtitles. With the exception of a couple of French and Spanish legends that we are thrilled to feature at PastryClass, whose classes are in authentic French/Spanish with English subtitles. The language of each class is highlighted on the class page prior to purchase.

We are working towards implementing subtitles in various languages across all of our videos to honor pastry culture in every nationality.

Will I receive a certificate of completion?

You will receive an official PDF certificate of completion signed by the instructor if you choose the Premium enrollment option.

What type of classes does PastryClass offer?

PastryClass has a mix of different classes—some that will improve your pastry cooking, others that will give you inspiration, and ones that will help you grow your pastry business! Gain a new baking skill, get inspired or learn how to build your pastry business. We continue to try and expand our offerings so we can give as much variety as possible to our students.

For how long can I access the pastry class?

Depending on the enrollment option you choose. A Premium enrollment gets you access for 1 year, while a Standard enrollment gets you access for 6 months.

Do I have to do assignments?

PastryClass doesn’t include specific assignments, you choose when and how you create your incredible recipes or partake in the practices from every class by following the instructor at your own pace.

What do I get after enrollment?

You have two enrollment options to choose from:

• STANDARD enrollment gets you 6 months of access to one class.
• PREMIUM enrollment gets you 1 year of access to one class, and a certificate of completion.

Additionally, both enrollments include a step-by-step class workbook, bonus recipes/materials, and access to PastryClassAI, a support tool created to enhance your learning experience, providing unlimited assistance instantly!

How much content (recipes/materials) are in every class?

All of our class content varies in quantity but our quality remains uncompromised—we believe in high-quality, unique, and variable lessons by professional instructors. This means that some classes will focus more on theory while others are focused more on recipes because you need the foundation of the theory to understand the recipes.

We want to give our instructors the freedom to teach as much unique and useful information as possible, instead of trying to hit a certain quantity of recipes. This allows the student to not only follow a recipe but to be able to master the recipe with the supporting information that the instructor provided. This way, we ensure that every instructor has invested their full legacy of knowledge into the classes we provide, ensuring our students' success!

Each class page will include a lesson outline to give you an idea of the information/material and/or recipes that will be provided in that class along with a preview of the PDF workbook so you can see the class recipe outline and any bonus recipes or materials before you sign up.

Will I be able to ask questions after the class starts?

There are 3 ways you can ask questions before and after enrollment.

1. Our Help Center will be able to answer your questions about payments, gifts, free classes, enrollment options, and troubleshooting.

2. The PastryClassAI support tool is the go-to platform for all your pastry-related inquiries, whether you're formulating recipes, mastering cooking techniques, troubleshooting baking errors, delving into theoretical aspects, or exploring ingredients. It's the one-stop destination where every pastry question finds a comprehensive answer.

3. If you have any organizational or technical questions—signing up, classes, payments etc—and neither of those paths helps to answer it please email us at hello@pastryclass.com.

Can I take multiple classes at the same time?

Of course! Each class has an individual subscription, you are welcome to take as many classes as you wish to develop your skills, and be inspired.

What skill-level is required for pastry classes?

Our pastry classes are designed for all pastry skill levels, whether you’re an experienced home baker, pastry blogger, influencer, pastry chef, instructor, or a creative professional, you can explore the knowledge and joy of pastry on our platform.

We’re incredibly lucky to feature some of the top professional chefs making waves in the pastry industry. Our classes are full of complex information and techniques, which is a great way to challenge yourself and gain new skills to achieve outstanding results.

How much do pastry classes cost?

They start from $490 USD and go up to $990 USD per class, depending on the instructor and whether you choose Premium or Standard enrollment with unlimited access, official certificate, class workbook, bonus section, support PastryClassAI access and more.

What tools and ingredients do I need to get in advance?

Please don’t hurry with advance purchases. Recommendations for tools and ingredients are a part of our teaching process in every class. In the first step of your pastry journey, you will be informed about what you need for the class and possible alternatives—we don’t want you to waste your time and money searching for items from the list when you may already have a handy substitution in your very own kitchen, so make sure to watch the class before you go shopping!

For handy access, the full list of tools will also be included in each class workbook alongside pictures and specifications. In case you will need to get a few additional items, you will then be educated on how to wisely make your selection.

All of the tools and ingredients you may need are accessible in every country from local or online pastry shops.

I can't find the class I am interested in.

When new classes are added to PastryClass, the first people to know about them are the people on our mailing list, subscribe here to get notified when new classes are published—we may surprise you one day! If you have a suggestion for a class we’d love to hear it, please contact us. If you have a suggestion for an instructor please tag @pastryclass on social media.

What if I don't like the class?

Our goal is to make sure that you have the best learning experience possible. If PastryClass isn’t for you, simply email us within 5 days from the date of your enrollment purchase, and we'll provide a full refund.

How do I contact PastryClass?

How do I access my classes?

Go to pastryclass.com, click the LOGIN button at the top right-hand corner of the screen and enter the email address and password that you used to sign up for PastryClass.

Or select “Login with Google” if signed up using Google.

After signing in, click on your profile in the menu tab to find the class you've enrolled in.

Where can I download my PDF workbook?

The button to download your workbook is at the top of the class page (make sure you’re already signed in!)

How to get a certificate?

You can automatically generate your certificate on the class page at any time after enrollment. Just click the 'Certificate' button at the top of your class page, enter your full name exactly as you'd like it to appear on the certificate, and the certificate will download to your computer. Et voilà!

Are there subtitles?

Our classes are in English, without subtitles. Why won't the video load?

Sorry to hear that your video isn't loading. We know it's frustrating when technical difficulties get in the way of you completing a lesson. Here are a few possible solutions:

1. Check your browser; using a common browser like Google Chrome is the best way to access PastryClass.

2. Check your internet connection; a weak internet connection will sometimes cause the videos to load slowly or slow down.

3. Clear your cache; clearing out some space on your computer may fix the issue.

How do I get a refund?

Our goal is to make sure that you have the best learning experience possible. If PastryClass isn’t for you, simply email us within 5 days from the date of your enrollment purchase, and we'll provide a full refund.
